Tom Otterness: Subway Art
One of my favorite subway stops is the 8th Ave./14th St. stop on the L Train. This renovated station features an installation of whimsical sculptures by artist Tom Otterness. His stuff is cute, and takes advantage of little spaces here and there you wouldn't otherwise notice. They also interact with the space, something that a lot of sculpture and other art forms fail to do.
