"Aermotor"

I had enjoyed the earlier image of the windmill, so tried another. Instead of the usual 140lb. Fabriano paper, I used a very heavy 300lb. Arches. I definitely like its rigidity and absorbancy on heavy washes. Will definitely use more (whether I like it or not, since I purchased an entire block). 9" x 12", watercolor, pen & ink, 300lb. Arches paper (rough).

I really like the rough texture, BC. So, I guess the rest of the block will service you well. You achieved a wonderfully layered sky. The colors are great. Also, windmills are so current now, it's nice to see an old fashioned one.

I love these windmills. This one, for some reason, makes me think of the dandelions I used to hold and blow the seeds to scatter them. As always, your artistry is exquisite.
