Weekend Flowers

A few flowers from this weekend's travels around the city: sunflowers, a gerbera daisy, yellow calla lilies, and a "Double Delight" hybrid tea rose. I'm always amazed at the variety, in both gardens and in shops. With so much cement and brick around, New Yorkers obviously love keeping flowers around to add a bit of color to the muted daily palette.
