A "southerner in New York City" trying to survive as a husband, dad, breadwinner, artist, photographer, and all of the usual "baggage" that entails . . . ruminations on growing up in southern suburbia during the 70s and early 80s . . . a sampling of my photographs and paintings . . . all filtered through the sieve of clinical depression, too much education, and always, my very biased opinions.

My allium are not completely open yet, but getting there... probly tomorrow. Funny thing, last year I had four or five in one cluster. This year there are two by my side door where they usually come up and there are several about ten feet on the other side of the door... hmmmn.
I really love Mad Sq Park. It's really come around and has a great feel to it.
Did you notice the weirdo sculptures? I couldn't quite understand them.
Happy weekend to you Brian. Hope you're surviving the rain!
As always, I love the way you capture color. The allium looks like a cluster of stars shooting forth with their dewy contrails behind them. cool:)
Wonderful photos!
