Just another "art card" exercise - a vintage "Frostie Root Beer" bottlecap. I'm going to lose my eyesight doing these. Also, some of the details are hard to render, even with the tiniest brushes (some of which seem to have too few bristles to hold water and pigment)! 2.5" x 3.5", watercolor, brush & ink, pen & ink, on Fabriano 140 lb. paper.

Oh, wow. How do you do this? How do you find these small items that evoke such memories when you paint them???? Wonderful! Sorry 'bout your eyes, though ... what about one of those lights with a magnifying glass?
Neato beato keen!
I have kept assorted bottle caps through my life. There's some cool art on them. My current favorite is from Blue Moon beer.
You did a great job on this.
Very nice work. I have warm memories of Frosty root beer.
