Sunflowers

Ah, Sun-flower, weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the Sun,
Seeking after that sweet golden clime
Where the traveller's journey is done:

Where the Youth pined away with desire,

And the pale Virgin shrouded in snow
Arise from the their graves, and aspire
Where my Sun-flower wishes to go.

Your eye finds the most wonderful images. The sunflower bud is fantastic. Thanks. (I saw a bumper sticker today: "Practice compassionate impeachment.")

You are so great at choosing blooms to shoot.

what crazy colors? The third one down looks like a diazo print or something?

I love how seasonal flowers are. I mean obviously they're around more in the warm months, but sunflowers just say 'summer'.

Sunflowers! These colors are just superb-almost like looking deep in the eyes of Fall. Great photos, Brian!
